My god! I have been totally slacking on updating this space!!! And my excuses are that I’ve been traveling and I was sick (bed rest for 2 weeks!!) Anyway, I am so glad if you still manage to come visit. To thank you for coming, I would like to post up a maternity shooting I’ve done earlier.
When I met up with Gilbert & Tammy for their pre-consultation meeting, their first brief is: we don’t like normal maternity photos!!! Hmm…so I wonder what kind of portraiture they had in mind. After getting to know them more, I realized that they wanted a more relax session to document the moments, without trying to hard on showing the belly. And that’s exactly my style! So here they are:
It was such a pleasant surprise when Sharon contacted me from Australia. What’s even more thrill is that she wanted me to document one of her important stage in life – turning 21 beautifully.
Her warm personality and energy had definitely made this a fun session. All the best to your future endeavor Sharon. Take care and keep in touch
People might have known Ursule as TV host, mc or actress. Yet when outside of work, she’s a very interesting girl with a lively personality and a great big smile. One afternoon, I’ve decided to document her everyday life just being her.
Sometimes, you don’t need a reason to photograph, as every moment counts.
A glimpse of her possession.
Can see the concentration when it comes to sorting out work.
Her love.
Our love.
Her offscreen persona – the many side of uc
Currently she’s up north participating in one of the world biggest event – Beijing Olympic. Watch her show on J2 @ 8pm or here (in cantonese). How lucky is that?
I was thrilled to be hired by Karen to document their lovely family before they moved overseas. I truly hope that when the girls look back at the portrait it would remind them of their time in here.
Wishing you all the best in the new country and I am sure it’s going to be a wonderful experience / adventure for all of you.
Just came back from Bali and feeling really refreshed & inspired. nature has reminded me on those beautiful things we’ve got already, and yet we often forget: the sea, the birds and the stars.
Congratulations to Carmen for coming out with your second book (aka baby #4) It’s a great pleasure to be part of this project and I can’t wait to see the real book.
Once the book is launched, will definitely share a few of the images from the book. It’s always an enjoyable time taking photos for your sweet family.
People always say that twin share a special bond. They can feel each other thoughts even if they are miles apart. Tho I am not sure if that’s the case for Tess & Til, but I am sure they have a very special relationship for a lifetime. And aren’t they lucky to have a best friend from day 1?
While Tilda is living in beautiful Australia, baby sis Tessa has decided to venture back to Hong Kong for a bit of fun. Yet the distance didn’t draw them apart, only closer.
We had a mini session when Til was in town earlier. It was short but fun to spend with two crazy girls whom shared the same big smile.
And Tess, I can’t wait to shoot your pre-wedding session~
Last week, I went visit Simon, Xandra and their beautiful baby girl. Some of you might know that Simon is one of my favorite wedding photographers in Hong Kong. Go check out his blog and you will know why. Originally we planned to wait until the baby is 1.5 month old for a proper session. However, how can I resist photo opportunity when there’s a baby? So I secretly sneaked in with my camera…
Little angel greeted me with wide eyes but she soon fell asleep in my arms. Look at how peaceful she was.
Of course, being a photographer with passion, Simon couldn’t resist not to bring our his camera too.
This is the first time I met Xandra in person but she immediately made me feel relax with her warm personality. Xandra you are looking good
Simon.the.papa and his princess.
And here, simon is being simon…hahaha
Look at this sweet family. But simon I think you need to get some sleep
Even though little angel was alseep the whole time, she had a lot of hand gestures to keep us entertained.
How precious.
Let’s get intimate.
Congratulations one more time to Simon and Xandra. Can’t wait for a proper session next time!
It was such a lucky day when I met up with Tanya and her family on a beautiful sunny morning, especially it’s been raining so much lately.
This was the 2nd time I photographed them and it just showed you how time flies. If you have visited my site, you would spot some of Jess photos’ in my portfolio. She has turned from a baby to a beautiful girl.
And let’s not forget Luke, the new baby in the family. He’s one of the happiest babies I’ve seen.
