cute and sweet companion for life anyone?

I have been going crazy clearing out as much work as possible before my Vancouver trip but seems like someone wanted to challenge me a little bit more by throwing a typhoon into my schedule. Exciting (yet nerve breaking!)

However, I would still like to take some times to share with you some delightful pictures of the puppies over at Hong Kong Dog Rescue where I’ve recently joined and volunteered to take doggie portrait for them. Please meet~

You can tell from the pictures that they are so full of character, energy and happiness. And these are just a small sample of all the cute and loving doggies who are waiting for their own homes. Would it be yours? (Check out their website for more doggies to find the perfect one for you)

A little bit about HKDR:

Hong Kong Dog Rescue (HKDR) was first set up as a Society in 2002 for the specific purpose of saving dogs from the Agriculture, Fisheries and Conservation Department (AFCD) government kennels, and in March 2005 gained full charity (non-profit) status. It is run by founder, Sally Andersen, and the many dedicated volunteers with the aim of rescuing, rehabilitating and re-homing as many of the thousands of abandoned and unwanted dogs and puppies as possible. What started as a one-person mission has now become one of Hong Kong’s most active and successful dog re-homing organisations.

You can find out more by visiting their website. Even if you can’t adopt a dog (it’s a lifetime commitment and no joking matter), they are constantly looking for help in every ways (donation, volunteering…etc)

Last but not least, Lane Crawford Home Store in Pacific Place will be showcasing HKDR’s 2010 diary and calendar, as well as T-shirts, tribute books and lots of other great merchandise.

Come and see HKDR’s latest merchandise between Thursday, 24th September and Thursday, 8th October to check out all the latest HKDR gear.

Store opening hours are from 10am to 9pm, every day!

p.s. Every Sunday between 2-5pm, Sally would bring some puppies for adoption to Whiskers and Paws in Horizon Plaza, Ap Lei Chau. You are welcome to go visit and play with them in person whether you are to adopt or not. It’s always good to socialize the puppies with human and have positive experience with us.
